FTCCI Conducts Two-Day Microsoft Excel Training Programme to Strengthen Data Analysis and Reporting Skills
Hyderabad, July 11, 2026: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), through the FTCCI Skill Centre, successfully conducted a two-day classroom training programme on “Microsoft Excel – Basic to Advanced” on 10th and 11th July 2026 at the FTCCI Skill Centre, Federation House, Hyderabad.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. R. Ravi Kumar, President, FTCCI, in the presence of participants and FTCCI staff members. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ravi Kumar highlighted the growing importance of digital skills and data-driven decision-making in today’s professional environment. He emphasised that proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel has become essential across industries and functional areas for improving productivity, analysing information, preparing effective reports, and supporting better business decisions.
The intensive 16-hour hands-on training programme witnessed the participation of 27 candidates from diverse professional and educational backgrounds, along with FTCCI staff members.
Designed to take participants from fundamental concepts to advanced applications, the programme provided practical exposure to the effective use of Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation. The training focused on developing skills that participants could immediately apply in their workplaces and professional assignments.
Through practical exercises, demonstrations, and hands-on learning, participants explored various Excel functions and tools used for organising and analysing data, generating meaningful reports, improving workplace efficiency, and presenting information through interactive dashboards.
The programme was organised as part of the continuing capacity-building initiatives of the FTCCI Skill Centre, which conducts industry-oriented training programmes aimed at strengthening the professional, managerial, digital, and technical capabilities of students, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and employees of member organisations.
The training received an encouraging response from the participants, who appreciated the practical and application-oriented approach of the programme. The interactive learning environment enabled participants to clarify their queries, practise different Excel tools, and understand their application in real-world business scenarios.
Through such industry-relevant training initiatives, FTCCI continues to contribute towards workforce development, digital capability building, and enhancement of professional competencies required by businesses and industries in an increasingly data-driven economy.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to faculty for his excellent teaching methodology and clear explanations throughout the program. His expertise and practical approach made the sessions engaging and easy to understand.
While the two-day training covered a wide range of topics, I believe that the duration was not sufficient to explore all the concepts in depth. Extending the program to four days would provide participants with additional time to practice and gain a more comprehensive understanding of Excel from basic to advanced levels.
