The program, which commenced on April 25, 2026, is being delivered through a structured weekend schedule and has witnessed active participation from entrepreneurs, professionals, and aspiring exporters.

The inaugural session was led by Mr. Kamal Jain, Head – Shipping & Logistics, who introduced participants to the basic concepts of international trade, including import-export procedures and essential documentation. The session set the foundation for understanding the global trade ecosystem.

A subsequent session focused on the role of APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), conducted by Mr. Basha, where participants were provided insights into export opportunities in agricultural and processed food sectors, along with an overview of end-to-end export procedures.

On May 3, 2026, Mr. Sampath Kumar conducted an in-depth session on payment mechanisms in international trade, covering instruments such as Letter of Credit (LC), Documents Against Payment, Escrow systems, and guidelines under UCP 600. The session emphasized risk mitigation and secure financial transactions in cross-border trade.

The program also covered classification and valuation, helping participants understand customs-related compliance and pricing frameworks.

Upcoming sessions will focus on advanced topics including customs clearance procedures, export promotion schemes, international marketing, GST in exports, Foreign Trade Policy, FEMA regulations, INCOTERMS 2020, and risk management in foreign exchange, including hedging and forward contracts.

According to FTCCI officials, the initiative is designed to bridge the skill gap in international trade and support India’s growing focus on exports. The program combines theoretical learning with practical case studies, ensuring participants gain real-world exposure.

The training is expected to conclude in the last week of May 2026, with participants gaining a comprehensive understanding of the export-import domain, positioning them for opportunities in global trade and business expansion.

FTCCI Organizes Free Health Check-up Camp under Vision 2030 Initiative

Hyderabad, 6th June 2025:

The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) successfully organized a one-day Awareness Program on Preventive Health & Food Safety, followed by FoSTaC Training, on 6th June 2025 at the Surana Auditorium, Federation House, FTCCI Marg, Red Hills, Hyderabad. This important initiative was sponsored by KFC India under its CSR initiative – the KFC India SAHYOG Program, and witnessed the active participation of over 300 food vendors, stakeholders, and professionals from across Telangana.

The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a Welcome Address by the President of FTCCI. The Theme Address was delivered by the Convener, FTCCI Healthcare Committee, and a Special Address by Dr. Aman Gupta, National Head – Corporate Affairs, Yum Brands India.

The Guest of Honor, Mr. Moksh Chopra, General Manager – KFC India & Partner Countries, reaffirmed KFC’s commitment to promoting food hygiene standards and vendor training. This was followed by a keynote address from Sri Anuraag Jayanti, IAS, Zonal Commissioner, GHMC, who emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach to food safety.

“One agency alone cannot handle the responsibility of food safety,” said Shri Anuraag Jayanti.

“It must be a collaborative effort between the government, industry, civil society, and community stakeholders under a strong Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework. The government is also working towards increasing the number of food testing laboratories to strengthen our regulatory capabilities and ensure better coverage across urban and rural areas.”

The inaugural session also included:

• Presentation of mementos to dignitaries
• Distribution of hygiene kits to a selected group of participants
• A group photograph
• Vote of Thanks by the Vice President of FTCCI
• The technical sessions, moderated by Dr. Aman Gupta, began with a virtual address by Sri Aman Lal, Chief People Officer – KFC India & Partner Countries. The session featured insightful presentations by:

The FoSTaC Training (Food Safety Training and Certification) was conducted in two detailed sessions:

12:45 PM – 2:30 PM and

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, followed by a Business Training Module from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

The program concluded with the Certificate Distribution Ceremony for all trained participants.
